The TPN Live Project is an internet-based package written for The Pallet Network Limited and The Pallet Network (Ireland) Limited, it is the subject to copyright. In undertaking any work that relates to the TPN Live Project you must agree to abide by this copyright. You should not decompile or reverse engineer any software containing the TPN or ZiPZAP Computers Limited logos and failure to comply with this could result in prosecution.
You will need both a username and password to access the systems (you get these from the TPN I.T. department). In obtaining access with these you in turn must agree to observe any limitations or restrictions that TPN may apply.
The TPN Live system is effectively working in real-time with data being sent in an interactive manner between the hubs, depots and end-users. It does not work by batch processing and in attempting any interaction you should be fully aware that it is your responsibility to conform with the operating procedures of TPN and not vice versa. You should not assume that any changes will be made to comply with the requirements of third-parties who cannot work with the existing systems or who have a lack of understanding of the areas concerned. Interactively working with the systems or producing labels will require an in-depth knowledge of SOAP and possibly Java. A test site at www.tpntest.net is provided so that you can check your work without affecting the main systems.
In TPN making any concessions you should be aware that the object of the system is to produce a high level of accuracy by not allowing flawed or innacurate data into the database and therefore attempts to send such data into the system may be rejected. You should ensure that the data going into the system is accurate and in particular you should verify service levels for availability and ensure that you only pass standard text to the data fields omitting commas and non-standard characters, It will be your responsibility to deal with this.
TPN reserve the right to withdraw any concession made. Please note that these details may be subject to operational changes.
