Junior Programmer(s) - 01/02/2008
We are looking for one or more programmers to join our team in Lincoln for a major project. We need someone who is very enthusiastic, adaptable and a team player. Hopefully the applicant will have some experience of the transport industry. It is vital that the applicant has good communication skills as they will be expected to resolve customer issues by phone and e-mail.
Programming will be in Windows based 4GL type languages. Experience of programming in Java, VB NET or C# would be to an advantage, similar languages would be considered. In-house training will be given.
The position would suit someone who has just left university as we would prefer graduates.
This is a full-time position. Generally we work 9.00am to 5.30pm with a lunch break of 30 minutes at 1.00pm. All public and bank holidays are observed. 21 days holiday pro rata.
Salary will be by negotiation. There will be a requirement to complete a six month probationary period.
Web designer - 01/02/2008
We need a web designer with experience of back-end SQL databases. Work will be on both Windows and Linux platforms using both MSSQL and MySql. Experience with PHP and ASP is important. The designer will work as part of an interactive team on a major project.
This is a full-time position. Generally we work 9.00am to 5.30pm with a lunch break of 30 minutes at 1.00pm. All public and bank holidays are observed. 21 days holiday pro rata.
Salary will be by negotiation. There will be a requirement to complete a six month probationary period.
